The staff could not have been friendlier, more helpful, or more pleasant. (Same with the people in the town.) They all seem to genuinely enjoy working there. The hotel embodies all the things I love about travel in Mexico--the hotel itself is a "museum/historical" experience, funky and elegant at the same time. I would like to check in for a week with a bathing suit, some good books, and no alarm clock. Loved our room with the balcony overlooking the pool.

Meson del Marques is a beautiful old building filled with history and has been converted into a fantastic hotel. The restuarant is probably the best in Valladolid. The location is great to base yourself for more adventure in the Yucatan.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, just a short 4-6 minutes' walk from Museo San Roque. It's only a 5-minute walk to downtown from the hotel. - the room was budget-friendly and inexpensive, equipped with climate control and storage. - the bed was exceptionally comfortable and the bathroom was spacious.

Outstanding location to walk about the city and overall quaint accommodations.
Was charged for seven margaritas rather than the five we had during dinner at the hotel restaurant. Waiter preferred to argue with us and stated it was impossible to overing as they had an inside "system" that keeps count of served drinks. I have one too, pacing myself on what I drink and holding on to the straws of all drinks to keep my own count. At the end I had to pay for the seven margaritas but left no gratuity.

Very nice and flexible staff and super room. From the beginning to the end we had a nice stay. The Restaurant is awesome and also not to expensive.
The bathroom was directly next to our bed and the door was just kind of shades.

Beautiful colonial building, with an ambient and stylish feel. Wonderful restaurant, serving local dishes and fantastic drinks, in a romantic, peaceful and authentic courtyard. Lovely pool area and large rooms. Perfect location, being directly opposite the central square and cathedral, and just a few blocks from the cenote. The staff were absolutely lovely!

We ate at a pleasant restaurant for breakfast or lunch. It was in a great location with Cathedral of San Gervasio nearby. - You could walk to a market and a bakery. - During the trip, everything was great and we would love to come back.
